Privacy policy
This policy describes how B.A.R. Stockholm AB processes personal data on restaurangbar.se, what we collect, why, and what rights you have.
Data controller

Data we process
Enquiries for large parties
When you send an enquiry we process your name, email address, telephone number, date, number of guests, type of event, whether you want to buy out a room and which one, and whatever you write in the message. For a company enquiry we also process the company name, its registration number, a reference or cost centre and an invoice address. For a sole trader the registration number is the same as a personal ID number. The details are used only to answer and handle your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent, given in the form and withdrawable at any time.
Newsletter
If you sign up for the newsletter we process your email address in order to send news about the season, the menu and evenings worth booking. The legal basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe in every mailing, and the mailings are handled by our newsletter service provider.
Table booking and takeaway
Table booking and takeaway happen through external services that you open in a new window. Those services are themselves responsible for the details you provide there, under their own terms and privacy policies. If you book by phone or email we process the details you give us in order to take and hold the booking.
Cookies and web statistics
The website uses necessary cookies in order to work. Analytics cookies are set only after your consent in the cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time.
Who can access the data
The data is handled by staff at B.A.R. who need it in their work. Beyond that it may be processed by our providers of web hosting, email, form handling, newsletter distribution and booking, acting as processors on our instructions. We never sell your data on.
If content from social media or maps is shown directly on the page, those providers may set their own cookies and process data under their own policies. Some providers may process data outside the EU and EEA, in which case the transfer is made with the safeguards the GDPR requires.
How long we keep the data
We keep data for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for. An enquiry is kept while we handle it and for a limited period afterwards, so we can follow up. A newsletter subscription is kept until you unsubscribe. Material that counts as accounting records is kept for as long as the Swedish Accounting Act requires.
Your rights
You have the right to request a copy of the data we hold about you, to have incorrect data corrected, to request erasure or restriction of processing, to object to processing, and to receive data you have provided in a machine readable format. Where you have given consent you can withdraw it at any time, which does not affect processing already carried out.
Contact us at [email protected] if you wish to exercise any of your rights. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, imy.se.
